Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi debuted the 15C 5G smartphone in Europe a few months back. Now, the brand has confirmed that it is launching the phone in India as well. The official launch date for the Redmi 15C in India is now confirmed.
Redmi 15C will go official in India next week
The official X handle of Redmi and the now live Amazon microsite for the Redmi 15C have revealed the December 3, 2025, launch date in India. The launch date confirmation banner contains a brief glimpse of the smartphone with a top left-aligned dual camera deco. At first glance, it resembles the design of the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G a lot.

The brand is using the "2026 Ka Big Boss" tagline to highlight the noteworthy specs the smartphone will offer. At the time of writing, none of the key details for the smartphone are out. However, if the Redmi 15C Europe launch was any indication, the India unit could also launch with the following set of specifications:
- 6.9-inch HD+ 120 Hz LCD display
- MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor
- 6,000mAh battery with 33W USB-C charging
- 50 MP main camera and 8 MP selfie camera
- IP64 rating
With that said, Redmi will officially start teasing the specs of the 15C for India from November 28 onwards. As for how much the smartphone will cost, the Redmi 15C India pricing and variants leaked a while back and hinted at Rs 12,499 for the starting 4 GB + 128 GB model. It is expected to go up to Rs 14,999 for the top 8 GB + 128 GB variant.
