Redmi has officially unveiled its next budget "A" series phone in India, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G. It offers some noteworthy specs for the price, with a large capacity battery, a bright and fast LCD display, an octa-core processor and more.

The all-new Redmi A7 Pro 5G features a 6.9-inch 120 Hz LCD display with HD+ resolution, 240 Hz Touch Sampling rate and up to 800 nits of high brightness. The panel also gets Wet Touch 2.0 tech and is backed by TUV Rheinland's Low Blue Light, Rhythm-Friendly and Flicker-Free certifications.
Under the hood, the phone draws its power from the Unisoc T8300 5G processor and can be paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Redmi is shipping the A7 Pro 5G with HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16 and is promising 4 years of software and 6 years of security support.
On the inside, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G has managed to pack a 6,300mAh battery within an 8.15mm chassis. It supports 15W USB-C charging and weighs 210 grams.
In terms of cameras, the phone brings a dual rear camera setup with a 32 MP main sensor and an undisclosed secondary lens. The selfie camera is a modest 8 MP unit.
Apart from that, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G gets an IP52 rating, ships with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, single bottom-firing speaker, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM 5G support, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and a USB-C 2.0 port.

The Redmi A7 Pro 5G price in India starts from Rs 11,499 for 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It is also available in a 4 GB + 128 GB configuration and that costs Rs 12,499. Both RAM and storage models will go on sale via Amazon India and Xiaomi India website and will be sold in Black, Mist Blue and Sunset Orange colourways.
