Redmi has officially confirmed the launch date for its next flagship, the Redmi K90 Pro Max. This will be the brand's first "K" series smartphone to carry the "Pro Max" branding, much like the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max that launched a while back.
Redmi K90 Pro Max launch date has been scheduled for October 23
Lu Weibing, President at Xiaomi, took to his official Weibo handle to reveal that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will launch in China on October 23, 2025, at 7:00 PM CST (or 4:30 PM IST). Alongside, Weibing also gave us our first look at the upcoming phone.

Going by that, we see the phone flaunting rounded corners and super-narrow bezels in a Golden White colourway. Most importantly, we see a horizontal camera module which also houses a Bose-tuned speaker.
This replaces the second screen seen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. This collaboration with Bose is a first for Redmi. Xiaomi describes the camera enclosure as a "volcanic crater" design, giving the flagship a more premium aesthetic.

While key specs of the Redmi K90 Pro Max are under wraps, we expect it to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. That will allow it to maintain its top-of-the-line status in the lineup, while the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
However, nothing else can be said about the smartphone at this point. But, given that the Redmi K90 Pro Max launch is just a week away, expect the brand to tease more details about it in the coming days.
