The standard Redmi Note 15 5G launched in India back in January this year and now, the brand is launching the Note 15 SE 5G as a more affordable alternative. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G focuses on bringing a balanced mix of performance, display quality and battery life under Rs 20,000.

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G sports a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and supports up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. This panel also features 12-bit colour depth and high-frequency PWM dimming for better viewing comfort.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 1 TB via a microSD card.
On the camera front, the phone features a 50 MP primary Light Fusion 400 rear camera sensor and for selfies, there's a 20 MP front-facing shooter.
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G packs a 5,800mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Despite the large battery, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile at around 7.35mm in thickness.

In terms of software, the smartphone runs on Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2 on top. Additionally, it comes with IP65 and IP66 ratings, along with military-grade durability for added protection.

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G starts at Rs 19,999 for the base 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. The 8 GB + 128 GB model is priced at Rs 21,999 and the top-end 8 GB + 256 GB variant costs Rs 22,999.
The smartphone will be available for purchase starting April 7, 2026, via Flipkart, Mi.com and offline retail stores. Launch offers include an instant Rs 2,000 discount with select banks, along with no-cost EMI options. The phone comes in Crimson Reserve, Frosted White and Carbon Black colour options.
