The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G was teased last week to launch in India. It is said to bring some impressive upgrades over its predecessor. Now, the official launch date of the tablet is finally out and it is launching sooner than expected.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G is launching in India on January 6
The official Redmi India X handle has confirmed that the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G will launch in India on January 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. It will be sold in the country via Amazon and the official Redmi India website.
Alongside the launch date announcement, Redmi has also confirmed that the upcoming tablet will rock a mammoth 12,000mAh battery capacity. The teaser image also confirms stylus and keyboard support for the Pad 2 Pro 5G.
That is all that Redmi India has revealed as of now. The Amazon microsite does mention that the next reveal will take place on December 23, 2025. Now, while the brand hasn't revealed the other key specs of the tablet, thanks to the Redmi Pad 2 Pro global launch back in September 2026, we already know about them.
