Redmi seems to be gearing up for the launch of a new Android tablet, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. A fresh leak has now revealed nearly everything about it.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro key specifications leaked
Telegram user EqualLeaks has shared what appears to be the official promotional material for the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. It has revealed a lot of the key details of the upcoming Android tablet. For instance, the Pad 2 Pro is said to bring a 12.1-inch 2.5K 120 Hz LCD display for the tablet, along with TUV Rheinland's Low Blue Light, Flicker Free and Circadian certifications.
Under the hood, the tablet will allegedly draw its power from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It will likely get paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Users will also apparently gain the option to upgrade the onboard storage by up to 2 TB via microSD card expansion.

We expect the Pad 2 Pro to ship with Xiaomi Hyper OS 2 based on Android 16. One of the key highlighting feature of the tablet could be its 12,000mAh battery which one of the promo material has revealed. It is said to be paired with 33W fast USB-C charging. It will also be capable of reverse wired charging of up to 27W.
Other than that, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro is said to feature a Dolby Atmos-backed quad speaker setup along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will also include a software-based 300% volume boost toggle to further increase the audio output of the tablet.

Apart from this, the tablet is said to bring an 8 MP camera at the back and an 8 MP selfie camera at the front. That said, since these are all leaked specs, take them with a grain of salt. Although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, we believe that the Redmi Pad 2 Pro could go live on August 24, 2025, alongside the Xiaomi 15T series, which is also set to go official on the same day in China.
