After Oppo and Realme, Samsung has also entered the price hike bandwagon with revised pricing for its popular Galaxy A series and Galaxy F series phones in India. They have received a minimum of Rs 1,000 price increase across all RAM and storage models.
Samsung hikes prices of Galaxy A and Galaxy F series
The development comes after a reliable tipster, AN Leaks, leaked an internal pricing document on X. It mentions a price hike for Galaxy A and Galaxy F series Samsung phones from February 25, 2026. However, we have not been able to spot the revised prices on Flipkart and Amazon yet.

As per the leak, the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G have received the steepest increase, with the 8 GB + 256 GB model getting hiked by Rs 1,000 and the 12 GB + 256 GB model getting increased by Rs 2,000.
As per the revised data, the Galaxy A56 5G now costs Rs 44,999 up from Rs 43,999 for 8 GB + 256 GB and Rs 48,999 up from Rs 46,999 for 12 GB + 256 GB. Similarly, the Galaxy A36 5G now starts from Rs 36,499 up from Rs 35,499 for 8 GB + 128 GB and Rs 40,499 up from Rs 38,499 for 12 GB + 256 GB.

In addition, the Galaxy F17 5G has seen a Rs 1,000 increase in price for 4 GB + 128 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB models. The top 8 GB + 128 GB option is now Rs 1,500 more expensive. It now starts from Rs 16,499 and goes all the way up to Rs 19,999.
That said, so far it looks like Samsung has notified its retail partners about the revision, who are yet to make the changes from their end. This is the second major Galaxy phone price hike this year and so far, it has only affected the mid-range category. We expect the new prices to reflect soon.
