Samsung has launched the Galaxy A07s in Jordan as a slightly upgraded version of the regular Galaxy A07. The new budget phone keeps most of the same hardware as its predecessor but gets a faster chipset.
Samsung Galaxy A07s Specifications and Features
The Galaxy A07s comes with a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Samsung has kept the same display setup as the regular Galaxy A07, with the higher refresh rate helping make scrolling and animations feel smoother.
The biggest change here is the processor. The Galaxy A07s is powered by the 6nm Helio G99+ SoC, replacing the vanilla Helio G99 on the Galaxy A07. Samsung has not made major changes elsewhere, so the phone remains focused on basic everyday use rather than offering high-end performance.
The phone comes in a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant in Jordan. Storage can be expanded by up to 2 TB via a microSD card slot. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-band Wi-Fi.
For cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A07s has a 50 MP primary rear camera and a 2 MP depth lens. An 8 MP camera handles selfies and video calls at the front. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
The phone is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging. It also carries an IP54 rating for basic protection against dust and water splashes.
Samsung has also given the Galaxy A07s a surprisingly long software support period for a budget phone, which is six generations of Android OS upgrades and security patches.
The Galaxy A07s measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 7.6mm and weighs 188 grams. It is available in Black, Light Violet and Green colourways.

The Galaxy A07s price in Jordan is set at JOD 119 (approximately Rs 16,000) for the 4 GB + 64 GB variant. The phone is currently available in Jordan and Samsung has not announced global availability of the phone yet.
