Samsung is not done launching mid-range phones this year, as it's preparing to launch the Galaxy A58. While the phone's rumour mill has been tidy, the latest regulatory filings for the phone reveal its charging speeds.
Tipster @ZionsAnvin took to X to share that a Chinese regulatory filing for an unannounced device carrying the model number SM-A5860 recently surfaced in China's 3C certification database. The listing confirms the A58 will support 45W wired fast charging.

This means the charging speed remains unchanged from the previous two generations. For those unaware, the Galaxy A56 was the first to bump it up from 25W to 45W. The documentation also notes that the phone will not include a charging adapter in the retail box.
The listing doesn't reveal anything beyond the model number and charging speeds. However, previous leaks have pointed toward the Galaxy A58's camera setup, which is said to include a 50 MP main, 12 MP ultrawide and 5 MP macro snapper. The front could be a 12 MP camera for selfies.

The physical build should also carry over features like an IP68 durability rating, stereo speakers, and an optical under-display fingerprint scanner. Other rumours have also pointed to a brighter display panel and an unannounced Exynos 1780 processor.
While most information about the smartphone remains unknown, its presence in regulatory databases suggests the Galaxy A58 is very close to launching. The Galaxy A57 launched in March 2026, and hence the A58 should also launch sometime in Q1 2027. Until then, stay tuned.
