After a long time, Samsung is finally allegedly prepping to launch a "Fan Edition" TWS earbud, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. While details regarding the upcoming earbuds are scarce, the latest development sheds light on the expected battery capacity of the TWS.
Tech Publication SammyGuru broke cover on the alleged battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE. The device with model number SM-R420 has been listed on Finland’s SGS Fimko certification platform. It also features the charging cradle of the TWS (model number: EP-QR420).
According to the listing, the Buds 3 FE earbuds will seemingly pack 100mAh batteries on each earbud. The charging case will likely house a 900mAh cell. If true, this will mean that the Fan Edition Galaxy Buds 3 will up the current flagship Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in terms of battery life.

For context, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro come with a 45mAh battery inside each earbud and the case includes a 500mAh capacity. This could help the Galaxy Buds 3 FE achieve long durations of uninterrupted listening experience.
Moreover, this revelation also somewhat confirms the early design rumours of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. It is said to adopt the triangular stem blade design that debuted with the Galaxy Buds 3 series. It will closely resemble the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with minor tweaks here and there.

For instance, unlike the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which came with orange and blue-coloured strips to differentiate the right and left earbuds, the Buds 3 FE will reportedly lack them. The Blade Light on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE is also reportedly going to be a cosmetic addition only.
In terms of specifications, most of the details are still under wraps, we expect the FE TWS to share some of the features of its Pro sibling. For example, the presence of silicone ear tips might suggest that the earbuds will come with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).

The stem could act as a touch sensitive panel, to control the music playback, control volume and different noise cancellation modes.
Apart from this, the TWS earbuds can pack features like Google Fast Pair, LE Audio support, Bluetooth 5.4, 10.5 mm drivers, a 9-band equaliser support, Galaxy AI support and more. The charging case might not feature the transparent top lid, but in terms of sound quality, we can expect Samsung to deliver a respectable experience with the Galaxy Buds 3 FE.
