Samsung has just teased its upcoming budget earbuds, which could likely be the Galaxy Buds Core. The new earbuds are expected to be successors to the Galaxy Buds FE and could launch in India within this month.
The official Samsung India account on X has confirmed the upcoming launch of the new Galaxy Buds along with a Notify me page which reads "Let the music move you to the core". Additionally, Amazon India also has a landing page that confirms that the new Galaxy Buds will go on sale on June 27, 2025 at 12:00 PM IST.

The earbuds will carry the name – Galaxy Buds Core, as confirmed by this Samsung support page. Besides its model number "SM-R410N", this page doesn't reveal any other details of the new earbuds. Since the "Core" branding is often associated with Samsung's more affordable devices, it's the first time we're seeing a Core-labelled earbuds.
While information is scarce at the moment, earlier rumours have revealed that the Galaxy Buds Core could feature a 500mAh battery on the case and a 100mAh battery on each earbud. That's an upgrade over the current Galaxy Buds FE, which offers 479 mAh on the case and 60 mAh battery per earbud.
There's also a likelihood that Samsung could be working on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE alongside the Buds Core, the latter being the more affordable option of the two. It's been a year since the Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro launched, so it's also possible that we may see the upcoming high-end version of the Galaxy Buds soon.
Samsung is tipped to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 where the company is expected to launch the recently-teased Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Watch 8 devices.
