Last month, Samsung unveiled its next-gen foldables, comprising the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8. Both the book-style foldables cost upwards of Rs 1.5 lakhs, and to make it easier for buyers, the brand has launched a new Galaxy Forever programme in India.
Samsung Galaxy Forever Benefits and Features
Samsung Galaxy Forever focuses entirely on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The program is meant to offer three key benefits, and the first one is 24 months of no-cost EMI. This will spread the phone's value across two years without incurring any additional interest.
The second is Samsung Care+ device protection, included as part of the program rather than sold as a separate plan. It will cover the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series from accidental and liquid damage with zero repair cost. This saves out-of-pocket payments at the time of servicing.
The third is the most exciting one, as it involves an assured buyback value on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Samsung will offer up to 55% of the phone's invoice value, inclusive of taxes.
Customers will be given the option to either upgrade or return their device from the 10th month onwards. Here is a breakdown of the different buyback eligibility tiers of the Galaxy Forever plan in India:

Do note that the Galaxy Forever program is an add-on benefit that users can opt for at the time of purchase. This means that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra can easily be purchased if customers do not want to pay extra for the Galaxy Forever Program.
In case you want to opt for the Galaxy Forever Program, here is a list of things you should be aware of:
- All buyback requests will need to be submitted through the Samsung India website only.
- Buyback requests are accepted between the 10th and 25th month after purchase.
- For phones to be eligible for buyback, the device must turn on and have a verifiable IMEI
- In case a stylus is included during purchase, it must be present at the time of buyback claim; the customer will be charged Rs 4,399 + taxes.
