Samsung is seemingly gearing to launch a new budget smartphone in India. The Galaxy M07 is expected to take the "Galaxy M" series forward. Although there is no official word from Samsung out yet, an early leak has given us a glimpse into the smartphone's core specifications.
Tech publication Smartprix has exclusively shared the full specification sheet of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M07 smartphone. The leaked specs hint at a yet another budget offering from Samsung targeting the below Rs 10,000 smartphone space.
For starters, the device is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with 260 pixels per inch and 90 Hz refresh rate. It is backed by the budget MediaTek Helio G99 processor which is a three year old SoC at this point.

It will likely be backed by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There could be other RAM and storage configurations available at launch. However, the current leak has not mentioned any such detail. On the software side, we expect the smartphone to run on One UI 7.0 based on Android 15.
The publication claims that Samsung will future-proof the device with six years of software support promise. Other than that, the device is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP main camera. The second lens could house a 2 MP depth sensor. As for the selfie camera, it is expected to be an 8 MP shooter.

Apart from this, the publication says that the Galaxy M07 will bring a 5,000mAh battery on board with 25W USB-C charging support. The overall footprint of the device is expected to be slim and lightweight at 7.6 mm and 184 grams, respectively.
Lastly, expect Samsung to officially secure the smartphone with an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water resistance. It will also reportedly feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security. And being a budget smartphone, it is also expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.

That said, all the above specifications strongly hint that Samsung will rebrand the newly launched Galaxy A07 which was unveiled in Indonesia. It retailed from 1,399,000 Indonesian rupiah (approximately Rs 7,700) there. So, expect it to get priced in India around the same range.
