The worsening RAM crisis has now brought along a massive price hike of up to Rs 12,000 to the flagship Samsung Galaxy S25 in India.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 price hike was first spotted by tipster @yabhishekhd on X and we independently verified it. The new hiked price of the smartphone is live on the official Samsung India website.
Interestingly, out of the three RAM and storage options, the brand has spared the base 12 GB + 128 GB variant of the S25 from the price increase. It is listed at the same old price of Rs 74,999.

However, for those of you eyeing the Galaxy S25 12 GB + 256 GB variant, the price has now been hiked from Rs 80,999 to Rs 84,999, reflecting a Rs 4,000 price hike.
The most shocking hike comes in for the 12 GB + 512 GB model, as it is now listed at Rs 1,04,999. The same variant was priced at Rs 92,999 until yesterday, making this a staggering Rs 12,000 price hike.

Interestingly, the Amazon listing for the 12 GB + 256 GB model of the Galaxy S25 is selling for Rs 65,999. That could be your last chance to snag the phone at that price. On Flipkart, the phone is listed for Rs 79,999 and could go as low as Rs 75,999 with an instant credit card discount and bank offers on EMIs.
Hence, in case you are looking for the Galaxy S25, it will be wise to check e-commerce listings and offline stores before finalising your purchase.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Specifications and Features
Even though the Galaxy S25 launched way back in January 2025, it is still a solid flagship Android phone choice even in 2026. For starters, the phone rocks the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a solid SoC for performance and multitasking.
The phone is also ideal for compact smartphone lovers, as it features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with plenty of brightness outdoors and all the flagship features like Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and more. Not to mention, the stereo speakers are of top quality.

Optics-wise, the phone features a solid triple camera setup, complete with a 50 MP main sensor, a 10 MP 3x telephoto and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Battery capacity is the only area where the Galaxy S25 falls short, as it features a 4,000mAh cell capacity. Charging is also slow at 25W. However, the One UI optimisation on Galaxy phones makes even this small capacity fuel for a full day.
Hence, if you plan your purchase right, the Galaxy S25 can be easily scored for under Rs 70,000 even after the price hikes. Of course, the 12 GB + 128 GB option can go even below, down to under Rs 60,000. However, in case you want higher storage, the Galaxy S25 still holds its place in 2026.
Aside from this, Beebom Gadgets is also maintaining an active smartphone price hike tracker for India to help you keep up with all the price revisions happening this year. So, do check it out!
