We are just mere weeks away from the official launch of the Galaxy S26 series and there is no end to the leaks and rumors. The latest one comes in the form of the lineup's alleged Bulgaria pricing and it reveals shocking data.
Galaxy S26 series is getting way too expensive in Europe
Reliable tipster Arsène Lupin has made an X post sharing the leaked pricing and configuration options of the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. These are said to be the Bulgarian pricing and they definitely do not paint a good picture.
For starters, the standard Galaxy S26 is said to cost 1,199 euros (approximately Rs 1,30,000) for the base 12 GB + 256 GB model. It is also said to launch in a 12 GB + 512 GB option and it could cost 1,429 euros (approximately Rs 1,53,000).

As for the Galaxy S26+, it is said to retail from 1,499 euros (approximately Rs 1,60,500) for 12 GB + 256 GB. The 12 GB + 512 GB model is expected to cost 1,729 euros (approximately Rs 1,85,000).
Lastly, speaking of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, its base 12 GB + 256 GB model will reportedly cost 1,739 euros (approximately Rs 1,80,000). It will also be available in 12 GB + 512 GB and 12 GB + 1TB options, costing 1,969 euros (approximately Rs 2,11,000) and 2,329 euros (approximately Rs 2,50,000), respectively.

If true, this refutes earlier claims of Galaxy S26 Ultra getting cheaper. In fact, these prices are exponentially high when compared to the Galaxy S25 series European pricing. It is hard to comment as to how much of a hike Bulgaria is getting since this is their first year of using Euros as an official currency.
Even then, this does paint a bleak picture for every region, including India. Of course, the direct converted pricing is comically high and Samsung will not price the phones that high in the country. However, given the current Rupee depreciation and a price hike trend in India, we can expect the upcoming Samsung phones to launch with a price hike.
That said, currently it is hard to tell what price the Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch in India. Given that the Galaxy S26 series India launch is reportedly set for February 25, 2026, we will not have to wait for long before the hammer drops.
