Galaxy S26 Launch Rumours were true all along
Industry veteran insider Evan Blass has leaked what seems like an official invitation from Samsung on X, revealing that the Galaxy Unpacked could indeed be held on February 25, 2026. This reiterates what was already believed to be the Galaxy S26 launch date. The teaser image features a geometric star icon associated with Galaxy AI, signalling AI will remain one of the main focuses of the event.

Besides, while the poster doesn't reveal any specifics, Evan claims the Galaxy Buds 4 lineup could debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series. This doesn't come as a surprise, considering Samsung refreshes its wearable ecosystem alongside its premium S-series handsets.
While the brand has not yet officially sent out press invites, the high-quality invitation from Blass suggests that an official announcement is imminent. Fans can expect the event to be livestreamed globally, with pre-orders likely to open immediately following the keynote.

As for the Galaxy S26 series, we already know it could consist of three phones – Galaxy S26, S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. All phones are expected to receive upgrades, including the addition of Qi2 and Qi2.2 on the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Besides, we should also hear more about One UI 8.5 at the event.
We also learned that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could get cheaper, while the standard Galaxy S26 could get more expensive. It remains to be seen if the information holds, and we should find out soon since the launch is less than a month away. Besides, the Galaxy S26 series could get Privacy Display for better privacy.
More leaks about the pricing and detailed specifications of the Galaxy S26 series should surface as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
