Back in December 2025, Samsung officially expanded its "Galaxy Tab A" family with the Galaxy Tab A11+ launch in India. Now, a new kids-friendly variant of the tablet has been introduced in the USA, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition. The new tablet brings enhanced parental controls and a more durable design for younger users.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition features the same 11-inch WUXGA 1920 x 1200 90 Hz LCD display, but now with an enhanced resin shell casing. Samsung is also integrating built-in One UI parental controls, allowing parents to set different restrictions to ensure their children are safeguarded from full access to the internet and the tablet's features.
For instance, parents can now natively access a Privacy and Control dashboard which helps them restrict data usage, set app usage limits, notify of unrestricted usage, password and PIN access and remote desktop control in case of emergencies.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition can also sync with other Galaxy devices which are set for adults and can enable remote access and control via trusted contacts. Aside from that, the rest of the tablet is pretty basic with the same metal chassis and internals underneath.
It is powered by the MediaTek MT8775 processor and is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Software-wise, the tablet ships with the One UI 8 update based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung is also promising 7 years of software and security support. Moreover, since the regular Galaxy Tab A11+ is part of the One UI 8.5 eligible devices list, we can expect the Kids Edition to get the update too.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition features the same 7,040mAh battery, with 25W fast USB-C charging support. Rest, it gets an 8 MP camera, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 LE, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity.
As for pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition costs $349.99 (approximately Rs 32,500) for the single 128 GB and Wi-Fi model.
