Samsung's next-generation Ultra smartwatch has almost entirely been laid bare ahead of its expected official debut on July 22, 2026. The newly leaked promo materials of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 reveal nearly everything about the smartwatch, including its design, processor, battery and durability features.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 Detailed in Leaked Promos
Reliable tipster Evan Blass posted the leaked official promotional materials for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 via his Substack newsletter. The leak reveals that the Watch Ultra 2 will retain its Titanium build but will now be 12% thinner than its predecessor.

Despite the sleeker profile, the smartwatch dials durability up to eleven with an IP69K dust and water resistance for withstanding high-pressure water jets at high temperatures. Visually, the watch retains its rugged, cushion-shaped industrial structure with an orange ring accent around the physical crown and an active band.
Besides reducing the physical footprint, the promo materials also confirm Watch Ultra 2's display capabilities. The smartwatch could reach peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, which is a huge upgrade from the original Galaxy Watch Ultra's 3,000 nits.

That said, the materials also confirm that the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset, which could greatly improve the overall performance and efficiency over the previous Exynos counterparts. Fueling the internals will be an 800mAh battery, a whopping 26% improvement over its predecessor (590mAh).
This isn't the first Watch Ultra 2 promo material, though. The smartwatch first featured as a "Spidey tracker" in a Spider-Man: Brand New Day commercial. The Watch Ultra 2 was seen on Ned's wrist, providing a real-life look at the smartwatch's design. Thanks to the partnership, the movie will also feature the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 foldable flagships.

With the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event set for later this week, we should hear more about the Watch Ultra 2's new fitness tracking features and more during the event, so stay tuned.
