Summary

  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has been listed on Geekbench with the Exynos 2400 chipset.
  • It has scored 1,940 points in the single-core test and managed to get 6,136 points in multi-core.
  • The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is expected to go official at the Samsung Unpacked event on July 9, 2025, at 7:30 PM IST.

Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event for foldables is scheduled to go live in two days' time. However, the leaks are yet to stop pouring in. Now, the latest appearance of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE on Geekbench has revealed what might Samsung's final choice of processor for it.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (model number: SM-F761B) has been listed on Geekbench 6 with the "s5e9945" mobile platform. The device managed to score 1,940 points in the single-core test, while it hit 6,136 points in the multi-core test.

Since the listing reveals 4 cores @ 1.96GHz, 3 cores @ 2.59GHz, 2 cores @ 2.90GHz and 1 core @ 3.21GHz. Based on this, it looks like the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be powered by the 2024 Exynos 2400 mobile chipset.

We also get to know that this variant packs 8 GB of RAM and is running on Android 16, most likely with the One UI 8 skin on top.

This new revelation is in direct contrast to what we learnt as part of earlier leaks. Previously, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE was expected to come with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC or the newer Exynos 2400e processor. Some leaks even hinted at the Exynos 2500. However, these claims stand refuted at the time of writing.

Although disappointing, the use of the Exynos 2400 in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE makes sense, since it's supposed to be an affordable variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 7

Apart from this, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is also expected to come with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It could feature the same 3.4-inch cover screen and 6.8-inch inner display as last year's Galaxy Z Flip 6. Expect to see a 4,000mAh battery inside as well. One can also expect the device to retail from $750 (approximately Rs 65,000).

Not too long ago, we also got to see some good-quality renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE

With that said, it's still all leaks and speculations. So, take it all with a grain of salt. Alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are also expected to go official. Luckily, we do not have to wait long as the official Galaxy Unpacked event is set for July 9, 2025, at 7:30 PM IST.
