  • It features a 4,300mAh battery and dual camera setup with 50 MP primary and 12 MP secondary lenses.

Samsung has finally launched the much anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7 with some much-needed upgrades. The phone features a new processor, a bigger battery, and an upgraded cover screen that makes it stand out from the previous Galaxy Z Flip.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Specifications and Features

Starting with the display, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 features a 6.9-inch FHD+ 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels. The cover screen has been upgraded to a 4.1-inch 120 Hz AMOLED panel. While there's no display protection on the main screen, the cover display is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Design-wise, the phone is boxier from the edges and a tad but slimmer than the previous generation, measuring just 6.5 mm when unfolded and 13.7 mm when folded. There are no major changes in the front; however, due to the larger 4.1-inch display, the dual-rear cameras blend with the cover display, just like the Moto Razr 60 Ultra. The phone also boasts an IP48 rating for protection against dust and splashes, and the chassis is made from Armour Aluminium.

At its heart, the phone runs via Samsung Exynos 2500 chipset. It's the company's latest 3nm 10-core processor with 1 x Cortex-X925, 2 x Cortex-A725, 5 x Cortex-A725 and 2 x Cortex-A520 core configuration. It also features the Xclipse 950 GPU, co-developed with AMD. The storage and RAM are UFS 4.0 and LPDDR5X.

The rear cameras consist of a 50 MP wide f/1.8 shooter with OIS, while the secondary is a 12 MP ultrawide f/2.2 snapper. There's the same 10 MP selfie camera like the previous iteration. The phone runs One UI 8 based on Android 16, with support for seven years of major updates.

Powering the internals is a 4,300mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. There's also 15W wireless charging alongside 4.5W reverse wireless charging, just like the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Samsung claims it can charge from 0-50% in 30 minutes.

Connectivity-wise, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 features Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. The phone also retains the side-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual stereo speakers.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Price and Colours

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is available in two variants – 12 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB, and it will retail for a starting price of $1,099 (approximately Rs 94,500). The phone will be available in Coral RedBlue Shadow, Jet Black and Mint colourways, with the Mint being exclusive to Samsung website.

There's currently no information about the pricing or when the device will go on sale in India, but we'll update when it does get announced.
