Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Z Fold 8 series is expected to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on July 22. Ahead of it, the regular Galaxy Z Fold 8 has already appeared in the wild, giving us a good look at its design.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Live Image Leaked
The leak first surfaced on Reddit, where a user going by @GalaxyNote7Recalled shared an image of what appears to be the unreleased Galaxy Z Fold 8 in a silver colourway. The phone is said to be displayed at a Samsung retail store in South Korea.
While the user mentioned they were not allowed to handle the foldable, they claimed that a store employee confirmed that the showcased handset was indeed the upcoming foldable.
The image corroborates the previously leaked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 CAD renders. The silver colourway showcased in the image features a wider and shorter passport-like design, which is a major departure from the taller book-style format. Besides, the back panel also reveals a dual-camera setup inside a vertical pill-shaped camera island.
Interestingly, there are two other dark-coloured smartphones that are partially visible in the above live image, which could be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (right) and Galaxy Z Flip 8 (left).
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra can be seen with a triple camera array, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 8 can be seen with a dual-camera setup on the cover display. Both smartphones on display appear to be black in colour.
With about two weeks left for the launch, expect the rumour mill to go into full frenzy in the coming days. Meanwhile, interested buyers can pre-reserve the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Z Flip 8 and avail additional discounts and perks.
