After treating its flagship Galaxy phones first, Samsung is now also shipping One UI 8 to its mid-range and budget Galaxy phones in India. The latest members eligible for the Android 16-based update are the Galaxy A16 and the Galaxy M16.

The stable One UI 8 build is now available to download on the Samsung Galaxy A16 and the Galaxy M16 smartphones in India. The update carries the A166PXXU5CYI8 and M166PODM3CYI9 firmware versions, respectively. Both phones have also been upgraded to the September 2025 security patch.

The update size on both phones is close to 3 GB in size and joins the ranks of the Galaxy F36 and Galaxy M36 with One UI 8 stable build. It's good to see that Samsung is taking care of its budget smartphone owners as well.

While the One UI 8 experience might vary across different price points, the core features remain consistent. For instance, both the Galaxy A16 and the M16 will now experience a tweaked Samsung DeX experience. The devices will also notice a redesigned menu within the Gallery app.

So, if you own either of the two phones, make sure to download the Android 16-based update to experience the latest version of One UI. For other Galaxy device users, we have a detailed One UI 8-supported devices guide live at Beebom Gadgets for your convenience.
