The Samsung W27 has officially launched in China as the brand's newest luxury foldable smartphone. Based on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, it's an ultra-luxury smartphone for China, arriving in Blue and Red finishes while retaining the same specifications as the Ultra.
Samsung W27 Specifications and Features
The W27's main selling point is its build and limited-edition aesthetic. The smartphone comes in Red and Blue colourways with golden accents on the hinge, camera islands and a unique "Heart to the World" logo at the bottom. It represents the joint venture between Samsung and China Telecom.

As for the build itself, the W27 differentiates itself from the regular Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with a Ceramic-like finish. The edges of the phone boast a dot-like texture for better grip and to add to the premium feel.
Everything else remains the same. The inner folding display is the same 8-inch 120 Hz 2x AMOLED panel, while the outer cover display is a 6.5-inch 120 Hz FHD+ AMOLED. Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, an octa-core chipset with a 4.74 GHz maximum clock speed.

Complementing the performance is up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. On the connectivity front, the phone boasts Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, UWB and dual eSIM capabilities.
Optics remain the same too, with a 200 MP main snapper, a 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 10 MP 3x telephoto snapper. Both the front cover screen and the inner screen feature 10 MP selfie snappers for video calls.
