Samsung's ultra-premium, limited-edition W series foldables are offered in the Chinese market. This time, the brand is working on the W27, which will be based on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra's architecture.
A recently surfaced image courtesy of Ice Universe on X gives us an early glimpse of the alleged Samsung W27. The leaked photo showcases the foldable smartphone sporting a dark blue finish highlighted by golden accents surrounding the rear camera island.

As for the specifications, the Samsung W27 will essentially pack the same specifications as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. This means it will get the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 200 MP cameras and internal displays, but in a body that's slightly more luxurious-looking.
Besides the phone itself, the main selling point of the W series is also its packaging elements. With a custom box, the phone is expected to be offered in its own custom case, power adapter and card of authenticity, which collectors will appreciate.
Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date for the W27. However, replying to one of the comments, Ice Universe said the launch date is set for October 29, 2026.
