The Tecno Pova 8 is officially confirmed to launch in India as early as next week as a successor to the Tecno Pova 7. We also get our first official look at the phone's design and colour options, with the brand also confirming a few other key details.
Tecno Pova 8 India Launch Date Announced
The official Tecno India X account has now confirmed that the Tecno Pova 8 will launch in the country on June 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. We also get an official design teaser, which showcases the back design of the phone in silver and green colourways.
From the looks of it, the Tecno Pova 8 draws heavy inspiration from the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. Just like the Phone (4a) Pro, the Pova 8 also features a dot matrix display in the camera module, alongside two cameras. We see the display displaying time in a dot matrix font and just like Nothing's implementation, it may be capable of displaying notifications, visual timers and more.
We also see transparent-ish elements sprinkled across the back panel. We also see it retain its predecessor's triangular-esque camera module design. An interesting thing to note is that, upon zooming in, we also see 8,000mAh being engraved at the back, which confirms the battery capacity. That's a 2,000mAh jump from last year's Tecno Pova 7 5G's 6,000mAh capacity.
While the brand hasn't revealed any other Tecno Pova 8 specifications, we expect more details to be confirmed in the coming days. So, stay tuned.
