Tecno Spark 50 5G India Launch Date Confirmed

Tecno has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Spark 50 5G, in India. Following a series of teasers, the budget-focused smartphone will debut later this month, i.e., March 2026, and will be geared towards users who want a value-for-money smartphone with great longevity.

Tecno Spark 50 5G will feature a massive battery

Tecno has made live a dedicated microsite on Amazon India, confirming the official launch date of the Tecno Spark 50 5G, which is set to debut on March 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The page also reveals some of the key specifications of the phone, including a 6,500mAh battery and the overall design.

The large Silicon-Carbon battery will be supported by 45W charging. The page also sheds light on the phone's build quality. Tecno is using aerospace-grade-6-series aluminum for the camera module. The phone also holds a MIL-STD 810H certification for drop resistance.

While the page doesn't reveal more about the phone's specifications, rumours point to the Spark 50 being powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with HiOS 16 based on Android 16. It will be flanked by three memory configurations – 4 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB.

The software comes with Ella AI, Tecno's onboard assistant capable of translating across multiple local Indian languages. Connectivity-wise, the page reveals the phone will get UPS 3.0 signal boosting for a more stable network and faster digital payments. Besides, it also supports 4x4 MIMO for improved download speeds.

Tecno has also teased a "No Network Communication" feature, though specific details on how this feature functions have not yet been revealed. The Spark 50 5G will be available in four colours – Fantasy Purple, Mint Green, Ink Black and Champagne Gold. Pricing details will be announced during the launch, so stay tuned.
