Last week, Vivo product manager Han Boxiao, teased the Vivo S60 series design. Now, he is back again and this time, we get to know some of the key specifications that the standard Vivo S60 will ship with.
Vivo S60 Confirmed to Bring a 7,200mAh Battery
In a new Weibo post, Vivo's Han Boxiao has confirmed that the Vivo S60 will feature a big 7,200mAh battery and will support 90W fast USB-C charging. This brings a sizable 700mAh increase from the 6,500mAh cell inside the Vivo S50.

Moreover, the smartphone will retain the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner from the S50 and will also bring Wet Touch 2.0 for better unlocking. Boxiao says that users will be able to unlock the Vivo S60 without needing to wipe their wet fingers first. It is also said to be less luminated, making it comfortable for users to unlock their phone in the dark.
Furthermore, the smartphone is said to be IP68 + IP69 rated, feature dual stereo speakers, an infrared sensor and an X-axis linear motor for haptic vibrations. A recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the Vivo S60 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, same as the Vivo S50. It could also gain a triple Sony IMX8 series camera setup at the back.
Vivo S60 Design (Leaked)
Now, while Boxiao has confirmed some of the details of the Vivo S60 and has even confirmed that the phone's design will feature insipiration from the "Summer" season, we still await its official reveal. However, a new image circulating online has already revealed the design of the S60.

In what seems to be a leaked promo image, we can see the phone in the same silver and white sparkling texture at the back that Boxiao spoke of previously. The camera deco design is interesting as it shifts away from the iPhone 16 Pro-like look of the S50 for an iPhone 17 Pro "inspired" edge-to-edge camera plateau.
We already know that Vivo is using cold-carved glass for the back and a brushed aluminium frame for the phone. That said, it is clear from Boxiao's posts that Vivo has preponed the launch of the Vivo S60 series. Slated to bring the Vivo S60 and S60 Pro, the lineup could debut as early as June 2026, instead of the usual Q3 launch cycle. So, stay tuned.
