The Vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G has launched in India as the brand's newest budget smartphone. It offers a big 120 Hz display, a generous battery capacity and a slew of AI features, while priced under Rs 20,000.

One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is easily its generous 6,500mAh battery. According to the brand, this can deliver up to 15 days of standby time, 54 hours of voice calls, 80 hours of music playback, 48 hours of local video playback, 20 hours of social media usage and up to 12.8 hours of gaming on a single charge.
There's also 44W FlashCharge fast charging support to top off the battery. Vivo also states that "the battery is engineered to retain its performance and support up to 5 years of battery health."
The phone promises to offer a comfortable grip with 8.39 mm of thickness and 209 grams weight. Vivo has also focused on the phone's durability, bringing triple Anti-Drop SGS Certification to the table. The Vivo T5 Lite 5G has passed "three rigorous drop tests, including High Altitude Drop Tests, Multi Drop Tests, and Multi Angle Drop Tests." In addition, there's IP65 dust and water resistance rating to further put clumsy folks at ease.
At the front, the phone features a 6.74-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. The display is also backed by TUV Rheinland Eye Protection to make it easier on the eyes during longer usage.
For photos and videos, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G sports a single 50 MP Sony IMX852 primary rear camera sensor and a 5 MP selfie shooter at the front. There are a bunch of AI camera features to make use of as well, such as AI UHD for sharper images, AI Cutout and AI Colour Adjustment.
Under the hood, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of storage, which is expandable up to 1 TB via a microSD card slot.
On the software front, the phone runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. The phone also comes with a slew of AI features, such as AI Creation, Vivo DocMaster, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Screen Translation and more. There's also the Vivo Office Kit, which brings seamless file sharing, screen mirroring and note syncing across devices, "ensuring users can stay connected and productive wherever they are."
