Just last week, the Vivo T5 Pro official teaser confirmed that it will arrive in India with a massive 9,020mAh battery. Now, the brand has confirmed the Vivo T5 Pro launch date in India and it's just a week away.
Vivo T5 Pro India Launch Date Set for April 15
The official X handle of Vivo India (@Vivo_India) has confirmed that Vivo T5 Pro 5G will launch in India on April 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM IST. It will be sold exclusively via Flipkart and a dedicated microsite is already live.
Alongside the launch date, Vivo has shared a first look at the upcoming phone. The teaser shows the Vivo T5 Pro in a light blue colour option with a vertical dual rear camera island at the back. At first glance, it looks similar to the iQOO Neo 11, which launched in China back in October 2025.
Moreover, based on the teasers released so far, it is clear that the Vivo T5 Pro focuses on gaming and battery capacity. As mentioned earlier, it is already confirmed to feature a whopping 9,020mAh battery and the new teaser image has further revealed 120 FPS gaming support and 7K vapour chamber cooling.
Vivo T5 Pro Specifications (Expected)
As per leaks, Vivo is downgrading the T5 Pro, compared to the Vivo T4 Pro. For starters, it is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which is a downgrade from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor on the T4 Pro. It could also miss out on the periscope camera, which the T4 Pro sported.
Vivo is expected to use a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera and a secondary lens at the back. As for other specs, it is expected to sport a 6.8-inch 144 Hz display, bring 90W fast USB-C charging, UFS 3.1 storage, an IP68 + 69 rating and ship with OriginOS 6 out of the box.
Vivo T5 Pro Price in India (Expected)
The ongoing RAM crisis has hit the smartphone market like a truck and as a result, we expect the Vivo T5 Pro to be pricier than the T4 Pro.
For reference, the Vivo T4 Pro launched in India for Rs 27,999 for the base variant and went all the way up to Rs 31,999. Going by that, we can expect the T5 Pro to start between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000.
That said, since most of the Vivo T5 Pro details are not out yet, take these leaked specs with a pinch of salt. If priced right, the phone could offer a well-blended mix of specs. However, we will know for sure once it goes official next week.
