After teasing the smartphone for quite some time, Vivo has finally unveiled the Vivo V60. The device, like previous "V" series smartphones, places a strong emphasis on the camera, featuring Zeiss-branded optics. So, let's take a deep dive into the specifications, pricing and availability details of the Vivo V60.
Vivo V60 Specifications and Features
The cameras on the Vivo V60 undoubtedly take centre stage. There's a triple rear camera setup backed by Zeiss optics that's home to a 50 MP Sony IMX766 main camera lens with support for OIS and Auto Focus.
The main sensor is complemented by a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens and an 8 MP 120° ultra-wide angle sensor. At the front, there is a 50 MP selfie camera, which is also backed by Zeiss and supports Auto Focus with a 92° Field of View.

As part of the Vivo-Zeiss collaboration, the smartphone features Zeiss-styled portraits with support for up to 100 mm Bokeh shots. In terms of video, both the main and the selfie sensor are capable of recording 4K footage.
Now, coming to the display, the Vivo V60 features a 6.77-inch 1.5K 120 Hz quad curved AMOLED panel with support for 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Dolby Vision video playback and up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness. The display is also protected by Vivo's in-house Diamond Shield Glass.

The display features 1.86mm bezels and is encased within a 7.53 mm chassis.
Vivo claims that the V60 is "India's slimmest smartphone in the battery category." This is because the brand has managed to pack a 6,500mAh silicon carbon cell inside the smartphone, all the while keeping the thickness at below 8mm and weight at 192 grams. It is further backed by 90W fast USB-C charging.

Coming to the performance, under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and is backed by up to 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
This makes the Vivo V60 the second smartphone to launch in India with this chipset after the Realme 15 Pro, which launched in the Country a while back. Apart from this, the SoC is backed by a vapour chamber cooling module.

On the software side of things, the V60 ships with Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box. It features several AI-first features like AI Captions, Google Gemini support, AI Portraits, AI Hyper Zoom and more. Most importantly, Vivo is promising 4 years of software and 6 years of security support for the V60.
The device also features a dual IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance rating for comprehensive protection. Vivo claims that users will be able to expel any water that has entered through the ports in under 30 seconds using high-frequency sound waves. It is also drop and shock resistant with an official military-grade certification.

In terms of connectivity, there is dual-SIM 5G support, Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6, GPS and NFC. The Vivo V60 also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
