Vivo has launched a new phone in Pakistan, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G. Essentially a rebrand of the Vivo S2 5G in India, the smartphone brings a curved AMOLED display, a large 7,050mAh battery and a mid-range Dimensity SoC to the table.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G Specifications and Features
The biggest highlight of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G is no doubt, its 6.83-inch curved 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display, with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G is also one of the few slim Vivo phones with a 7.99 mm thickness and just 197 grams in weight. Despite that, the brand has managed to fit a massive 7,050mAh battery inside with 44W fast charging support.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor, a better-tuned variant of the Dimensity 7360 chipset and it is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo V80 Lite 5G ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box.
On the camera front, the phone features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a 32 MP unit.

Aside from that, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G brings Bluetooth 5.4 support, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB-C 2.0, GPS with support for GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou, and OTG. Durability-wise, the phone gets IP68 + IP69 ratings.
The Vivo V80 Lite 5G starts from 1,24,999 Pakistani Rupees (approximately Rs 43,100) for the 8 GB + 256 GB model. The phone will be sold in Silk White and Sapphire Blue colour options.
While the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Pakistan is a rebrand of the Vivo S2 5G in India, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia will be a different phone, featuring specs like a 10,000mAh battery and a refreshed design. This is what will reach other global markets, including India, later this year. So, stay tuned.
