Fresh off the momentum of its Vivo X300 and X300 Pro and with the Ultra just around the corner, the brand isn't slowing down. Now, Vivo is reportedly gearing up for its next big leap in foldables with the X Fold 6. From a potentially record-breaking battery to a flagship-grade camera setup, the Vivo X Fold 6 could be the brand's most ambitious foldable yet.
Vivo X Fold 6 Key Specifications Leaked
The information arrives courtesy of Digital Chat Station on Weibo, who shared that the Vivo X Fold 6 could feature a 7,000mAh battery. It will be arranged in dual-cell mode with the larger battery being a 3,915mAh cell and the smaller being a 2,845mAh cell. The total gross rated capacity could be 6,760mAh, while Vivo could round it off to 7,000mAh.

If these numbers make it to the final production unit, the Vivo X Fold 6 will boast the largest battery capacity ever placed inside a foldable smartphone. For those unaware, the Vivo X Fold 5, which launched last year, boasted a 6,000mAh battery with 80W charging. Although in the X Fold 6's case, we don't know if Vivo will stick to the same speed or bump it up to 120W.
Besides, Vivo will reportedly fit in a 200 MP primary camera. While DCS hasn't mentioned the exact sensor name, Vivo could borrow the same massive 200 MP currently being used in its flagship Vivo X300.
Complementing the main shooter could be a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with telemacro capabilities. This would mean Vivo would finally close the gap with competitors like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Oppo Find N6.

Besides, DCS also noted that the X Fold 6 could debut a new ID design alongside minor adjustments to the screen layout. The post also mentions "fresh accessories", which hints at the brand bringing Zeiss' Teleconverter kits to a foldable form factor. This makes sense since a recent leak also suggested that the Vivo X300 FE could arrive with a teleconverter kit in India.
While not much else is known about the X Fold 6, industry insiders suggest the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
As always, the flagship foldable will most likely arrive in China first, followed by an international release a few months down the line. The exact release date is unknown, but it could happen in July 2026, the same time we saw the X Fold 5 launch last year.
