Vivo is officially adding another member to the "X300" lineup in China. The Vivo X300e is confirmed to launch as the fifth family member alongside the Vivo X300, X300s, X300 Pro and X300 Ultra. The brand has revealed the smartphone's design and sale details ahead of the full reveal next week.

Vivo X300e Design and Sale Date Revealed

An official Vivo X300e microsite is now live on the Vivo China website and it has confirmed that the smartphone will go on sale on July 27, 2026, at 9:00 AM CST (or 6:30 PM IST). The phone is currently up for pre-order via Vivo Shopcat and JD Stores in China.

Vivo has also revealed the design of the X300e, and the phone looks completely different from the other X300 series smartphones. The Vivo X300e will feature a squircle camera deco, similar to what we have seen with Oppo Reno series phones, like the Oppo Reno 16.

The smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup, and, like all the other X300 series phones, the X300e will also be backed by ZEISS imaging. While it is unclear from the image whether the back is made out of glass or plastic, the mid-frame appears to feature a matte aluminium frame, as inferred from the antenna lines.

Vivo X300e will be available in black, white and orange colour options. The official names for these colourways are presently unknown.

While Vivo has confirmed the launch of the X300e in China, the brand has not revealed any details about the smartphone's specs. This is the first time the brand is using the "e" suffix in the premium "X series", and the Vivo X300e could be the most affordable X300 series phone.

The Vivo X300e GSMA IMEI database listing was also spotted recently, and before that, a separate leak from tipster Digital Chat Station detailed its key specs. The phone is said to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display for the phone. The display size sits right between the standard Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300s and X300 Pro.

Moreover, the Vivo X300e could be powered by the capable Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, making it the second phone in the X300 lineup to use a Qualcomm chipset, after the Vivo X300 Ultra. Cameras are also something to look out for, as the phone is reportedly fitted with a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP Sony IMX 8-series periscope camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens.

As for battery and charging, the X300e is tipped to bring around a 7,100mAh cell capacity with 90W fast charging support. It is unclear if the phone will also bring wireless charging capabilities. The phone is also tipped to be about 7.99 mm thin and weigh 203 grams.

The Vivo X300e is going on sale next week in China and we expect the brand to officially reveal the phone's specs before that. It will also be interesting to see how the smartphone is priced amidst the ongoing RAM crisis. There is no word on the Vivo X300e India launch yet.
