Vivo has not even launched the X300 series in India yet and talk of the X500 has already made it to the rumour mill. Well, it looks like Vivo is planning to give the next iteration a major battery upgrade.
Vivo X500 could pack at least 7,000mAh battery
According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X500 series could finally join the league of 7,000mAh battery phones next year. In fact, the tipster suggests that the next flagship lineup could actually boast over 7,000mAh capacity.
For reference, this year, the Vivo X300 launched in China with a 6,040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro packed a bigger 6,510mAh capacity. Considering that the X300 is a compact offering, the capacity is amazing.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 15 launched with a massive 7,300mAh unit, the iQOO 15 got a 7,000mAh battery and even the Oppo Find X9 series launched with at least that capacity. So, it only makes sense for Vivo to buckle up and up their game next year.
The Vivo X300 Ultra global launch was tipped recently and it's expected to go official with a 7,000mAh battery as well. Most importantly, Vivo is also reportedly testing some mid-range phones with 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh batteries. So, looks like 7,000mAh batteries in phones have already become the new normal, as OEMs are now pushing for bigger capacities.
With the Vivo X500 leaks just having started pouring in, expect to see more details surface in the coming months.
