Vivo Y51 Pro 5G Launched in India with Dimensity 7360 Turbo and 7,200mAh Battery

Vivo has expanded its Y-series lineup in India by launching a new mid-range smartphone, the Y51 Pro 5G. It is designed for buyers looking for an all-round phone which focuses on battery longevity, solid performance and reliable software experience.

One of the key highlights of the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G is its 7,200mAh battery capacity, which can also quickly charge with the 44W fast USB-C charging brick bundled with the device. At the front, the phone features a 6.75-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz LCD display with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and 1,250 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the smartphone draws its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset. It is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is also virtual RAM expansion support of up to 12 GB. The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It is set to receive up to 3 years of OS and 4 years of security updates.

In terms of cameras, Vivo has fitted the phone with a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP secondary lens. Both are joined by an 8 MP selfie camera. Other than that, the smartphone is IP65 rated, features an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual 5G SIM support, GPS, NFC, a USB-C 2.0 port and more.

Vivo Y51 Pro 5G Price in India and Sale Date

The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G starting price in India has been set at Rs 24,999 for 8 GB + 128 GB. It is also available in an 8 GB + 256 GB option, which costs Rs 27,999. It will enter open sales from March 11, 2026, via Flipkart, Vivo India website and select offline stores.

Early bird customers are also eligible for up to Rs 2,500 cashback, up to 10 months of no-cost EMI plans and 70% discount on Screen Damage Protection and Extended Warranty plans. These offers are only eligible for purchases made before March 16, 2026. The phone is available in Festive Red and Noble Gold colourways.
