After weeks of teasers hinting at a battery breakthrough, the Vivo Y600 Pro launch date in China is now officially locked. The brand has also revealed its exact battery capacity and it could become one of the biggest batteries ever fitted inside a mainstream smartphone.
Vivo Y600 Pro to Launch in China on April 27
The official Vivo Weibo account has confirmed that Vivo Y600 Pro will launch in China on April 27, 2026, at 16:00 CST (or 4:30 PM IST). The teaser images also make it very clear that the upcoming smartphone will become the first phone in the world to bring a mind-bending 10,200mAh battery capacity.

Alongside the launch date and battery capacity reveal, Vivo has also showcased the full design and colour options of the Y600 Pro. It follows the Vivo Y500 Pro footsteps with its boxy design and large circular camera deco with a textured camera ring.
We also see the Vivo Y600 Pro in three distinct colourways. While the Starry Purple and Vast Blue hues bring a minimal, polished and elegant look, the real hero is the Floating Gold option with its silver back and golden textured elements, reminiscent of sand dune textures in the wind.

Interestingly, we see the camera deco mention a 50 MP main camera. This means Vivo is downgrading the camera experience on the upcoming phone as compared to the 200 MP Samsung HP5 main camera sensor on the Y500 Pro.
Also, the performance on the Vivo Y600 Pro could take a hit, as the phone's recent Geekbench listing revealed the Dimensity 7300e chipset. From the looks of it, this is a toned-down version of the Y500 Pro's Dimensity 7400 processor.
Other than that, a previous Vivo Y600 Pro premature telecom listing revealed four RAM and storage options - 8 GB + 256 GB, 8 GB + 512 GB, 12 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB. The report also hinted at a 32 MP front camera, 80W fast USB-C charging support and a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz OLED display.
That said, it is clear that the Y600 Pro is all about making breakthrough battery innovation. With the Honor Power 3 battery capacity reportedly hitting the 11,000mAh mark, the brand is beefing up battery capacities like no other.
Since the Vivo Y600 Pro is launching next week, we won't have to wait long to see how it fares against the competition.
