According to a reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will share mostly the same Leica-branded cameras. Both phones are said to arrive with the same 50 MP primary rear camera with an f/1.67 aperture. They will reportedly be sharing the ultrawide with a 17mm focal length.

However, it's the telephoto shooter that will tell the two Pros apart. Both phones will arrive with the same 50 MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom and a 115mm focal length. But the telephoto on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is said to offer a wider f/2.6 aperture (f/3.0 on the Xiaomi 17 Pro).

Apart from this, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max secondary display has been the talk of the town, making a glorious comeback since the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. Both Pros are also said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Sadly, this is all that's known about the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max. However, given that the phones are expected to arrive sometime later this month itself, we probably won't have to wait for long to know all the details.
