Last week, the Xiaomi 17T series launched globally and now the brand has decided to bring the standard Xiaomi 17T to India. This marks the re-entry of the "Xiaomi T" series in India after a gap of six years. The phone is positioned as a camera-first premium mid-ranger with a Dimensity 8 series processor, Leica-backed cameras, a big battery and a 1.5K display.
Xiaomi 17T Specifications and Features
Right off the bat, the immediately noticeable aspect of the Xiaomi 17T is its design. It brings a minimal look to the table and is reminiscent of the Xiaomi 15T from 2025. It brings a glass fibre back panel with a metal squircle camera deco and a brushed aluminium mid-frame.
The phone is on the thicker side with an 8.17mm thickness, but is relatively lightweight at 200 grams. A large part of this can be attributed to the 6,500mAh battery inside the Xiaomi 17T and it comes with 67W fast USB-C charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
For performance, Xiaomi is using the powerful mid-range Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, which is a slightly better-tuned version of the regular Dimensity 8500 chipset. Aside from that, the phone is backed by Leica Summilux lens and also brings a 1.5K display, stereo speakers, Hyper OS 3 and more. Here is a quick rundown of everything the Xiaomi 17T offers:

Xiaomi 17T Price in India and Sale Date
The Xiaomi 17T price in India is set at Rs 59,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model. Meanwhile, the 12 GB + 512 GB variant is priced at Rs 64,999. Interested buyers can get an instant bank discount of Rs 5,000 on the phone, bringing the net effective price down to Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999, respectively.
As for availability, the phone will go on sale in India starting June 10, 2026, via Amazon and the official Xiaomi India storefront.
