Xiaomi has announced the Pad 7S Pro in China, and it comes powered by the company's own high-end Xring O1 chipset along with some other upgrades over the previous generation. Here's a complete look at the specifications, pricing and availability of the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro. 

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Specifications and Features

The Pad 7S Pro is the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, and it features a slightly bigger 12.5-inch 3.2K 144Hz IPS LCD display with a resolution of 3,200 x 2,136 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio and 1000 nits peak brightness. There's a special Matte Glass Edition of the tablet that gets anti-reflective coating and offers reduces eye strain.

Design-wise, the Xiaomi tablet is just 5.8mm in thickness and it weighs 576 grams. It equips a 6-speaker audio setup with Dolby Atmos support and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There's a massive 10,610mAh battery which can be topped up with 120W fast charging. 

For the internals, Xiaomi has packed the Pad 7S Pro with its own Xring O1 chipset. It's the second tablet to feature the 3nm process-based processor that features ten cores and bundles the Immortalis-G925 MP16 GPU. This will be coupled with up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM.

At the back, the Pad 7S Pro is host to a single 50 MP wide f/1.8 primary camera with 1/2.76-inch sensor size. It gets a 32 MP f/2.2 camera with 1/3.6-inch ultrawide sensor on the front for selfies. 

On the connectivity front, Xiaomi has added support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an infrared port, a USB-C 3.2. The tablet runs on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 and offers seamless connectivity with Apple devices along other productivity options.

The Pad 7S Pro comes in four colourways – Titanium Silver, Purple, Black, and Blue. The tablet will be available in China, starting today from June 26, 2025, for a starting price of 3,299 Yuan (approximately Rs 39,500) for the base 8 GB + 256 GB version. The tablet's Keyboard Folio case and Focus Pen will be available for 999 Yuan (approximately Rs 12,000) and 399 Yuan (approximately Rs 5,000) respectively. It appears to be a China-exclusive device, since there was no mention of its global availability during the event.
