iPhone 17 Colours

For the standard iPhone 17, Apple is sticking to the same design as on the iPhone 16, but you can get them in new colours. These include:

  • Lavender
  • Sage
  • Mist Blue
  • White
  • Black

Sage and Mist Blue are the hero colours of the new iPhone 17. They replace the Pink and Teal colours from the iPhone 16. Apple retains the Black and White colours from the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus on the newer model. These colours go really well with the glossy back panels on the iPhone 17.

The Sage variant on the iPhone 17 is a more contrasty Teal shade, while the Mist Blue is a lighter Ultramarine shade from the iPhone 16. The Lavender is a completely new colour as it replaces Pink. It looks like a lighter Pink contrast but with a very slight Blue tinge, which gives it this subtle hue.

iPhone Air Colours

Compared to the regular iPhone 17, Apple's new ultra-slim iPhone Air comes in light pastel shades, which are far less vibrant than the standard and Pro models. Here are all the available iPhone Air colours:

  • Sky Blue
  • Light Gold
  • Cloud White
  • Space Black

Sky Blue is iPhone Air's hero colour. Apple is betting safe with the Space Black and Cloud White colourways, as they're among the traditional options that users have often had throughout the years. The not-so-conventional options are Light Gold and Sky Blue, which are a bit paler and less flamboyant than previous offerings. All of these go really well with the matte glass finish at the back.

But it's not the first time Apple has experimented with pastel shades. iPhone 15's Blue colour was predominantly white with a hint of blue. So this Sky Blue can be a wonderful pick for those of you who want a little more colour, for the lack of a better word. The Light Gold option, however, is a slightly faded version of the iPhone 14 Pro's Gold hue.

iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max Colours

For the Pro models of the latest iPhone, Apple has thrown a curveball with some striking new colour choices. Here are all the available colours of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max:

  • Silver
  • Cosmic Orange
  • Deep Blue

The Pro models no longer equip a titanium frame, and that's why you won't see the "Titanium" label on any of the colours. But with Cosmic Orange and Deep Blue, Apple is offering bold choices for the first time alongside a traditional Silver colourway.

Cosmic Orange is a slightly lighter, fluorescent orange colourway which is certainly eye-catching. It can be the preferred option for those of you who wanted a Pro but liked the bright colours found on regular iPhones. The Deep Blue shade looks somewhat familiar to the Blue Titanium of the iPhone 15 Pro, but this one is of a slightly different hue.

With everything now official, my personal pick from this year's models is no doubt the Cosmic Orange shade on the iPhone 17 Pro, followed closely by the iPhone Air's Light Gold option. The Sage colour can stand out in the crowd if you're opting to get the standard iPhone 17. And that's a wrap as far as iPhone 17 colours are concerned.

FAQs

1. Is there a Product(RED) iPhone 17?

The iPhone 17 is not available in a Product(RED) colourway. Apple decided to discontinue the Product(RED) colourway after the iPhone 15 series due to complex supply chain requirements.

2. Which iPhone 17 color is the most popular?

For the base iPhone 17, Black is one of the most popular colour choices followed by Sage and Mist Blue. For iPhone 17 Pro, Cosmic Orange steals the show while Deep Blue follows.

3. Does the iPhone 17 Pro have a Titanium finish?

No, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max don't come with a Titanium finish. Apple has dropped the Titanium finish on the 16 Pro for Aluminium on the 17 Pro to improve thermal conductivity.
