Each wallpaper comes in a light and a dark version, so you can choose a wallpaper based on your system theme. The wallpapers also play nicely with the new HiLight feature on the back, which matches its accent colour from your wallpaper and the device colour.

On the Pixel 11 Pro XL, the same wallpapers are paler in tone, but nothing else changes between the two. And like the standard model, every design has a matching dark variant that follows your Android 17 theme.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold keeps it simple with just two wallpapers: Tidal Swirl in Olive and Lunar Tides in Obsidian. Both wallpapers are designed for that big inner screen. Both come from Google's Mineral Collection and share the same flowing, water-inspired look as the rest of the wallpapers.
And there you have it! I think the muted tidal palette is not for everyone, and it's a step away from the bolder colours Google gave us on the Pixel 10. Nevertheless, the artwork grows on you the longer you look. For most users, the Olive and Canyon options are worthy options for your home screen.
