Summary

  • To do a Realme serial number check, go to Settings > About Device > Status and look for the Serial Number field.
  • If your phone is dead or lost, the serial number is printed on the white sticker at the back of the phone box.
  • Note that the dialer code no longer shows the serial number on Realme phones.

Every Realme phone ships with a unique serial number that Realme uses to validate warranty claims and authorise repairs. Unlike the 16-digit IMEI number, the serial number is a hardware ID tied to your specific phone and it's assigned by the manufacturer. You will need it while checking warranty status of Realme phones or when when you are buying a used Realme phone and need to verify its authenticity. On that note, let's go ahead and learn how to check serial number on Realme phones.

Check Realme Serial Number Using Settings

The fastest way to do a Realme serial number check is through the Settings app. This method works on every Realme UI version including the latest Realme UI 7.0. Here are the steps to follow.

  1. Launch the Settings app on your Realme phone and scroll down to open About device.
  2. Here, tap on Status and you will find the Serial number. You can also long-press to copy it.

Note that the serial number on a Realme phone is an alphanumeric string and it's completely different from the IMEI number. If you also need the IMEI, follow our guide on how to check IMEI number on Realme phones.

Find the Realme Serial Number on the Retail Box

If your Realme phone is not booting or lost, you can still find the serial number from the original phone box. Realme prints the serial number on a white sticker on the back of every box and this is the best option in case your phone is locked out. The serial number is labelled Serial number (S/N) or Serial No. and is mentioned right next to the IMEI number.

While you are at it, you can also check Realme's country of origin and verify where your handset was manufactured. Apart from the box, the invoice from Flipkart, Amazon or a Realme retail store will also have the serial number printed on it, so check the invoice too.

And these are the two ways you can do a Realme serial number check. If your phone is missing and you cannot find the box or the invoice, you can provide the IMEI number to find your Android device. However, for repair requests, both the serial number and IMEI work without any problem.
