Realme UI 7.0 is the next big release for Realme phones. While it bears a few similarities because of its shared codebase to ColorOS 16 and OxygenOS 16, there are a few features that set it apart. So, here are some of the best Realme UI 7.0 features that you must try out your Realme phone on your next update.
1
Light Glass Design and UI improvements
1
One of the main additions to the latest Realme UI experience is the Light Glass design, which is heavily inspired by one of Apple's new iOS 26 features – Liquid Glass. Besides bringing a translucent UI, Realme has brought a host of new UI elements while improving the existing UI experience.

For starters, the background shade on the folders is now transparent, and then there are slightly opaque Ice Cube Icons that complement the UI well. In addition, Realme UI 7 adds a translucent Breathing Dock, slightly similar to Apple's home screen dock, albeit with less Gaussian blur in the background.

Then there's the new Misty Glass Control Centre, which, again, is clearly inspired by Liquid Glass. While there aren't many improvements functionality-wise, the visual changes look pretty unique, and are in line with OriginOS 6 features that also bring Liquid Glass-inspired design.

Lastly, Realme UI 7.0 makes animations more fluid and seamless. Realme claims the new Flux Engine promises a 15% boost in system responsiveness and a 29% smoother scrolling experience. Besides, it's expected to bring a 22% improvement in day-to-day performance.
2
Flux Themes 2.0 and customisations
2
Flux Themes 2.0 brings much-needed additions to the lock screen customisations across the ColorOS 16-based UIs, including Realm UI 7.0. For starters, there are new flux icons that adapt to the wallpaper colours.

Then come the themes with different lock screen clock styles, including a diffused style and depth style, where the text or clock digits seamlessly transition to the home screen.

Realme UI 7.0 also introduces more fingerprint animations alongside the ability to customise them. The demo reveals that users can use their own custom icons or emoji as fingerprint animations

3
Multitasking Sidebar
3
One of the other new additions to Realme UI 7.0 is what the firm's calling Multi-task Side Bar. In the demo, the sidebar essentially looks like a floating dock feature on steroids.

Users can have multiple apps in the sidebar, scroll through the list and tap on the app they want to start using. They can also resize the app right from the dock and quickly make it full screen by dragging it toward the end of the screen.
4
All new AI features
4
Realme UI 7.0 is introducing two new AI features, namely AI Framing Master and AI Gaming Coach. The former is similar to the Camera Coach feature on Pixel, where the on-device AI helps you align your camera to take a good-looking shot.

While Realme hasn't revealed much about the AI Gaming Coach feature, it should arrive baked into Realme's Gaming Mode and should teach experienced and newbies about the right way to play a game. The brand also revealed a feature called AI Notify Brief, which will use the on-device AI model to summarise all your notifications.

5
Cross-device ecosystem additions
5
Almost all Chinese smartphone manufacturers have worked immensely on making their devices play well with the Apple ecosystem. Realme is no different, as it brings the ability to connect with an Apple Watch or an iPhone to help sync health data.

Now, there's certainly a lot of information that we are missing out on, which should be revealed as we inch closer to Realme UI 7.0's stable release. One of the features that Realme hasn't revealed yet, but should make its way, is the one that facilitates easy sharing with iOS. It's also present in ColorOS 16 and Oxygen OS 16.
The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to be the first smartphone to feature Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. Besides the aforementioned features, the UI may also include a plethora of Android 16 features like Advanced Protection Mode and Material 3 Expressive in apps.
And those are all the new Realme UI 7.0 features that will soon make their way to all the Realme UI 7.0 supported devices. More features should surface as we inch closer to the stable version's release date, so stay tuned.
