Whether you're planning to sell your Realme device, buying a used one or want to repair your existing phone, knowing your warranty status can save you both time and money. Realme offers a few ways to check this information, through which you can know exactly when your coverage expires. Here's a Realme warranty check guide to find out the warranty coverage of your device.

Check warranty using official Realme website

This method is perfect if you no longer have access to your Realme phone's menu. You will first need to check the IMEI of your Realme phone, which is very similar to checking IMEI number on OnePlus phones. Once you've noted down the IMEI, here's how to check the warranty of a Realme device.
- Visit the official Realme Warranty Check website and enter the IMEI you copied into the empty text field.
- Once entered, tap the Search icon to search for your device.
- The system will then display the Activation date alongside the Model name and Colour. This date marks the start of the warranty period, meaning you can get the phone repaired for free any time within a year of this date.

All Realme smartphones get a standard 1-year warranty. If it's been well past 12 months since the activation date, chances are, your Realme phone is no longer covered and not under warranty. Before you take your Realme phone to the service centre, we suggest turning on and disabling Safe mode on Android to solve any issues you may be facing.

Find your phone's warranty status using Realme Store app

If you have the Realme store app installed, you can use it to determine the warranty of your Realme device. Here's how:
- Launch the Realme Store app and head over to the Service tab.
- The app will auto-detect your phone's IMEI and show you the Warranty Expiry Date and other details inside the My Device section.

- Unlike the website, it will show you the exact date your phone's warranty expires.
Most modern Realme devices also get an e-warranty card in Settings, which users can show in the service centre to get their phone repaired. However, the feature doesn't show details about warranty expiration or device activation dates. The E-warranty card can be found in Settings > About device > Instructions > After-sales services > E-warranty card.

Like checking the warranty on Oppo phones, verifying using the brand's official website is the easiest method out there. But if you want to steer past the calculations and get the exact date when the warranty expires, we'd recommend checking the warranty via the Realme store.
