The foldable smartphone market could in India could soon get a brand new challenger as Madhav Seth's Ai+ has officially teased the arrival of the brand's first flip-style foldable phone, the Nova Flip. Knowing Ai+, the phone could be a budget foldable phone.
Ai+'s first foldable will be called the Nova Flip
In a post on X today, Madhav Seth shared a teaser video of Ai+'s upcoming Nova Flip smartphone with the caption "Some things are better when flipped". The post was accompanied by a handful of hashtags, further confirming the product's name and form factor. The video shows the phone unfolded in a V shape with the caption "See you on the flip side".

While the teaser doesn't reveal any major design clues, it does show the smartphone in a metallic Silver/Grey frame with a side-mounted power button featuring a distinct red accent. The depth of the power button suggests it may double as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone appears to be on the slimmer side with an almost negligible camera bump, which appears to house two cameras. For those unaware, Ai+ has already released two budget smartphones – the Pulse 4G and the Nova 5G.

Considering the brand has so far catered to a budget audience, we expect the Ai+ Nova Flip to land as a budget foldable smartphone in India. Unlike the Z Flip and Razr series, we expect the Nova Flip to be among the phones under Rs 50,000.
That said, we don't have any information about the upcoming Ai+ Nova Flip smartphone, neither do we have an official release date. However, more details should be unveiled as we inch closer to its scheduled launch date, so stay tuned.
