Apple's "Awe dropping" event is just a day away and the leaks are still coming. The latest one has outed the alleged battery capacity of the iPhone 17 series ahead of the scheduled event.
X user ShrimpApplePro posted an image revealing the expected battery capacity of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The data has allegedly appeared on a Chinese certification website and the user was able to extract the same from there.

Based on the leaked info, as expected, the iPhone 17 Air is going to pack the smallest battery of the lot. The SIM Card tray variant of the device is said to feature a 3,036mAh battery, while the e-SIM only model will be able to squeeze in a 3,149mAh unit.
As for the standard iPhone 17, it seems like both the SIM tray variant and the e-SIM only model will feature the same capacity at 3,692mAh. The iPhone 17 Pro will feature a 3,988mAh battery with a SIM slot and a 4,252mAh cell without the SIM tray.

Lastly, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to offer a 4,823 mAh battery with the physical SIM model and a 5,088 mAh battery for the e-SIM only model. This will make the e-SIM-only variant of the iPhone 17 Pro Max the only iPhone to feature a 5,000+mAh capacity.
However, we do not think that the 5,088mAh unit of the smartphone will make it to India. This is because Apple sells its iPhones in the country with a physcial SIM tray. Hence, it is very likely that India will not get to experience the above 5,000mAh battery iPhone.

As for the other specifications, a short while back, the entire iPhone 17 series specifications list emerged online. It revealed a 6.3-inch display for the iPhone 17 and a 6.6-inch display for the iPhone 17 Air. The Pro models are expected to feature 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively.
In terms of performance, while the standard iPhone 17 and the 17 Air will draw their power from the upcoming A19 processor, the Pros are getting treated to the A19 Pro chipset. Also, the 17 Air is expected to be the only model to feature the C1 5G modem, as seen on the iPhone 16e.

This year, Apple is bringing a new design language to the 17 Air, 17 Pro and the 17 Pro Max. While the "Air" model is expected to be a slim device at 5.5mm, the Pros are expected to feature a dual-tone back with an uninterrupted aluminium body and a glass section at the back. The 17 Air is said to be the only model this year with a titanium chassis.
That said, since the upcoming Apple event is just a night away, we will know these details for sure in a few hours.
