Summary

  • All the key details of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max have now leaked online.
  • While the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 will get the A19 processor, the Pro and the Pro Max models will gain the A19 Pro.
  • The "Awe dropping" iPhone 17 launch event is scheduled for September 9, 2025.

Apple's "Awe dropping" even is knocking on the door, but the leaks are nowhere near ending. The latest one has outed the entire specification list of the iPhone 17 series smartphones ahead of the scheduled event.

X user Jukan has posted several images claiming to be the leaked details of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max smartphones. The devices have been apparently listed by Korean telecom carriers ahead of the iPhone 17 series launch event on September 9, 2025.

Starting with the iPhone 17, it is said to bring a 6.3-inch OLED display with the upcoming Apple A19 chipset at the helm and 8 GB of RAM. It doesn't seem to bring any difference compared to the iPhone 16 apart from the new SoC.

Even the same 3,600mAh battery is also expected to make it way to the iPhone 17. Cameras are also largely similar with the iPhone 16's 48 MP main sensor and the 12 MP ultra-wide camera. However, the selfie camera is due for an upgrade with a jump from 12 MP to 24 MP.

Moving on, the newest member of the family, the iPhone 17 Air is said to bring a 120 Hz ProMotion display with a 2740 x 1280 resolution. It is also said to be thin at 5.5mm and weigh only 145 grams.

Since this is going to be the slimmest one of the lot, it is also expected to bring a smaller battery. It is said to be a 2,800mAh unit. The tiny battery is likely going to get complimented with the Apple A19 processor and the Apple C1 5G modem which first debuted with the iPhone 16e.

Apart from this, the device is said to bring a single 48 MP main camera at the back with a 24 MP selfie unit just like the standard iPhone 17. It will likely feature only 8 GB of RAM.

Now, speaking of the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, both are said to bring the Apple A19 Pro chipset with 12 GB of RAM onboard and up to 1 TB of storage. The Pro is said to feature a 6.3-inch display while the Pro Max will encase a 6.9-inch panel.

Additionally, the Pro models are also expected to bring a smaller redesigned Dynamic Island. Both smartphones are also said to bring a new vapour chamber cooling module for thermal management.

A previous leak had hinted at an all 48 MP cameras on the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. This could mean a 48 MP main sensor, a 48 MP ultra-wide lens and a 48 MP telephoto unit with up to 8x zoom.

Apart from this, Apple could equip the iPhone 17 Pro Max with exclusive camera features like a moving lens system and a 8x optical zoom support. Lastly, while the 17 Pro is said to get a 3,700mAh battery the 17 Pro Max is gaining a 5,000mAh unit.

That said, since the upcoming Apple event is just a few days away, we can expect the Cupertino giant to officially confirm the above-mentioned details.
