Last week, Apple annouced a surprise special experience event for select media members. The upcoming event is set to take place in New York, London and Shanghai at the same time for a bunch of new Apple products. Now, thanks to a new leak, we know what all to expect from the upcoming showcase.

Apple eyes multiple product launches next month

In his Power On Newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has revealed that the Apple special experience event will witness the launch of at least five new products. While there is no confirmation on them, it could be from the following devices:

  • iPhone 17e
  • Low-cost MacBook
  • Budget A18 iPad
  • M4 iPad Air
  • M5 MacBook Air
  • M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro
  • M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio
  • Studio Display second generation

Now, while we know that the iPhone 17e is arriving for sure, there is also a high chance of Apple's first-ever budget MacBook to also break cover. Gurman claims that the Apple event invite graphic is made out of the rumoured colour options of the upcoming MacBook. It is expected to be powered by the Apple A 18 chipset, come with a 13-inch display and cost close to Rs 60,000.

Also, the chances of a new A18 powered budget iPad breaking cover, is also highly likely. Currently, the most affordable iPad starts from Rs 34,900 and rocks the Apple A16 chip. So, the upcoming low-cost iPad might be a sequel to the current model and could start from the same price.

Aside from that, Gurman's report also noted that Apple Stores are running low in stock on M3 iPad Air, M4 MacBook Air and M4 Pro and M4 Max MacBook Pro models. This could be an indication of the inevitable launch of the M5 refresh of iPad Air, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

That said, we will know for sure next week when the official Apple event kicks off. Gurman has highlighted that the actual product showcase will begin on March 2, 2026 and will end on March 4, 2026. So, it could mean three full days' worth of hands-on experience and multiple Apple Newsroom announcements.
