Apple's "Awe Dropping" event today announced a bunch of new products, including the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and the Apple Watch SE 3 smartwatches. As is customary with the brand, Apple has discontinued the previous generation models of the Apple Watch.
As of today, that is, September 10, 2025, the Apple Watch SE 2, the Apple Watch Series 10 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 are no longer available to purchase officially from Apple. However, interested buyers will still be able to purchase the older smartwatch models from offline outlets and e-commerce stores like Amazon and Flipkart, till stocks last.

This is a common practice from Apple. It is done to boost the sales of its latest lineup of products. The Watch SE 2 was launched back in 2022. So, it makes sense to discontinue that since, at this point, it is almost four years old. However, the Apple Watch Series 10 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 are relatively new, being only a year old.
The new Apple Watch lineup brings several improvements over its predecessors, like the S10 chipset, support for Always on Display on the Apple Watch SE 3, a new Hypertension notifications feature, Sleep Apnea detection and more.
That said, the Apple Watch SE 3, the Apple Watch Series 11 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 are currently available to pre-order on the Apple India website. So, if you're looking to upgrade, you might want to check that out.
