Back in March, Apple officially confirmed the WWDC 2026 event dates, revealing that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference will run from June 8 to June 12, 2026. The event will follow a hybrid format, allowing both in-person attendees and online streaming. Now, Apple has released the official WWDC 2026 schedule ahead of the event next month.
Apple WWDC 2026 Keynote Schedule Is Official
With the WWDC 2026 dates locked in, Apple has confirmed that it will kick proceedings off with the official Apple Keynote on June 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM PDT (or 10:30 PM IST). This is where the Cupertino brand will unveil the next generation of its operating systems, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27 and visionOS 27. The keynote will also set the stage for the much-awaited Gemini-powered Siri.

While in-person attendees will be present at the Apple Park in Silicon Valley, online viewers can live stream the event on apple.com, the Apple TV app and the official Apple YouTube channel. There will also be the option to watch an on-demand playback of the event after it has concluded for the day.
Once the Apple Keynote ends, on the same day, the Platforms State of the Union will commence from 1:00 PM PDT (or 1:30 AM IST). This session is mostly developer-focused as it offers a deeper technical insight into Apple's new software features, APIs and technologies. This will also stream online and can be accessed via the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website, YouTube and bilibili.
With that, the first day will wrap up and most of the important announcements will happen on the first day itself. Apple will reserve the next four days to provide educational resources and interactive sessions for the developer community.

From June 9 to June 12, 2026, Apple engineers and designers will host video sessions and guides, a dedicated Group Labs session for developers to participate in live activities, conduct online presentations and take part in Q&A sessions. They will usually last for 60 mins and will cover topics like Apple Intelligence, developer tools, design, graphics and games and machine learning.
Lastly, Apple Design Awards will also happen at WWDC 2026, acknowledging the contributions from developers and student communities. Apple has announced 36 finalists for the award and they will be judged on the basis of technical execution, creativity and design across six categories.
The Swift Student Challenge will recognise student developers for their distinguished contribution to the Apple developer ecosystem. Out of the 350 winners this year, Apple has designated the Distinguished Winners to 50 participants, who are also invited to experience WWDC in person.
